      "verbatimText": "February 12, 2021\n\nSecurity Bulletin 02/12/21: Assault in Off-Campus Neighborhood\n\nThe Ann Arbor Police Department is investigating an assault that occurred at an off-campus neighborhood in the area of Burns Park, near Baldwin Ave on February 8, 2020, around 6:30 p.m.\n\nA student was approached by an unknown male who asked her if she was a student athlete. She responded yes and he immediately began punching her in the face and ribs with a closed fist. The victim then pushed the suspect away then fled the area.\n\nThe suspect is described as a white male, approximately 25-30 years of age, dark hair, average build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark-colored pants.\n\nIf you have information, please contact the Ann Arbor Police Department Tip Line (734) 794-6939 or tips@a2gov.org.\n\nRegardless of whether you're on or off the University of Michigan campus DPSS strongly encourages you to:\n\nBe aware of your surroundings and look assertive.Trust your intuition.
