      "verbatimText": "February 7, 2021\n\nSecurity Bulletin 02/07/2021: Car Fire\n\nThe U-M Division of Public Safety & Security responded to the report of a car fire on the fifth floor in the Michigan Medicine P1 parking garage on Saturday evening.\n\nThe victim, a U-M staff member, reported that he was assaulted in P1 parking structure near his vehicle at approximately 7:50 p.m. He reported he was knocked unconscious and woke to find his vehicle on fire. There are no known witnesses to the incident.\n\nThe Ann Arbor Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire. The owner of the vehicle, a Michigan Medicine staff member, was taken to the Emergency Department, treated, and released.\n\nThe University of Michigan Police Department is working with the Ann Arbor Fire Department on the investigation.\n\nAt this time, portions of the structure are closed, pending safety inspections.\n\nBased on the preliminary investigation, DPSS does not believe there to be an on-going threat to the community.\n\nAnyone with information or specific safety concerns may contact the University of Michigan Division of Public Safety and Security at (734)763-1131 or the Confidential Tip Line 1-800-863-1355.",
