      "verbatimText": "April 8, 2020\nCrime Alert 2020-03: Felonious Assault\nAlert ID:\n2020-03\nAlert Agency:\nUMPD (Report Number #20-1753)\nAlert Issued:\nApril 8, 2020\nDate of Incident:\nApr. 8, 2020 07:15 AM\nLocation:\nNichols Arboretum, near the Peony Gardens, 1610 Washington Heights, Ann Arbor\nOffense:\nFelonious Assault\nSummary: At approximately 1:30 a.m., an individual was sitting on a bench in the Nichols Arboretum near the Peony Gardens. He heard something behind him, and as he turned around, he was struck over his right eye with a glass bottle. The suspect then stuck a plastic airsoft-type pistol into the victim’s neck and told him to freeze. The victim punched the suspect, knocked him to the ground, and fled. UMPD is investigating this incident.\nSuspect(s): Younger black male, about 5’10” to 6′ tall. Wearing blue jeans, a red hooded sweatshirt, with a white t-shirt underneath.
