      "verbatimText": "August 10, 2020\nCrime Alert 2020-4: Home Invasion\nAlert ID:\n2020-04\nAlert Agency:\nUMPD (#20-2957)\nAlert Issued:\nAugust 10, 2020\nDate of Incident:\nAugust 10, 2020, at approximately 2:10 a.m.\nLocation:\nNorthwood V, 2100 block Stone Rd., Ann Arbor\nOffense:\nHome Invasion\nSummary: At approximately 2:10 a.m., an individual sleeping in an upstairs bedroom awoke to a noise in the apartment. She opened the bedroom door and observed an unknown male standing outside the door. The suspect did not speak and fled the area when observed. Entry was gained into the apartment through an unlocked first floor sliding glass patio door. UMPD is investigating.\nSuspect: Asian male, 26-30 years of age, dark hair, about 6’1”, average build, with glasses. He was wearing a white t-shirt with a collar.\nIf you have any information, please contact the U-M Division of Public Safety and Security at (734) 763-1131 or Dial 9-1-1\nRemember:\nClose blinds at night and keep doorwall security bars in place\nKeep rooms and apartments locked at all times\nApartment-dwellers should turn on exterior lights at night\nWalk with a trusted friend or co-worker when possible\nTrust your intuition.
