      "verbatimText": "August 10, 2020\n\n Crime Alert 2020-4: Home Invasion\n\n-\n Alert ID:\n 2020-04\n\n-\n Alert Agency:\n UMPD (#20-2957)\n\n-\n Alert Issued:\n August 10, 2020\n\n-\n Date of Incident:\n August 10, 2020, at approximately 2:10 a.m.\n\n-\n Location:\n Northwood V, 2100 block Stone Rd., Ann Arbor\n\n-\n Offense:\n Home Invasion\n\nSummary: At approximately 2:10 a.m., an individual sleeping in an upstairs bedroom awoke to a noise in the apartment. She opened the bedroom door and observed an unknown male standing outside the door. The suspect did not speak and fled the area when observed. Entry was gained into the apartment through an unlocked first floor sliding glass patio door. UMPD is investigating.\n\nSuspect: Asian male, 26-30 years of age, dark hair, about 6'1\", average build, with glasses. He was wearing a white t-shirt with a collar.\n\nIf you have any information, please contact the U-M Division of Public Safety and Security at (734) 763-1131 or Dial 9-1-1\nRemember:\n\n- Close blinds at night and keep doorwall security bars in place\n- Keep rooms and apartments locked at all times\n- Apartment-dwellers should turn on exterior lights at night\n- Walk with a trusted friend or co-worker when possible\n- Trust your intuition.
