      "verbatimText": "June 6, 2023\nCrime Alert 2023-3: Home Invasion & Discharging a Firearm\nAlert ID:\n2023-3\nAlert Agency:\nUMPD #23-2594\nAlert Issued:\nJune 6, 2023\nDate of Incident:\nJune 6, 2023\nLocation:\n1600 block Cram Circle (Northwood II)\nOffense:\nHome Invasion/Intentionally discharging a firearm at a dwelling\nSummary: DPSS received information just after 8:30 p.m. from a friend of a Northwood II resident, indicating that an unknown female had just attempted to force her way into his friend’s apartment.\nUMPD contacted the resident, who said a female entered his apartment without permission after requesting a glass of water and directions. The resident reported that the female had an unopened folding knife in her hand. The resident sustained minor injuries following a brief scuffle. The female then left the apartment.\nThe resident said two gunshots were fired through his apartment window within a minute after closing the door. The shots did not strike anyone.\nSuspect: As described by the victim - White female, between 5’2” and 5’6” tall, approximately 120 lbs, between 22-23 years of age, with red hair in long braids, wearing a pink cropped shirt and a short jean jacket.\nIf you have any information, please contact the\nU-M Division of Public Safety and Security at (734) 763-1131 or Dial 9-1-1\nRemember:\nIf you see something, say something.
