The storm which prompted the warning stayed to the Northwest of Ann Arbor and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado.\n\nA severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect until 10:00 p.m. for southeast Michigan.\n\n______\n\nU-M EAlert: Tornado Warning for Washtenaw County until 8 p.m. Take shelter in lowest interior space. Check news for updates.\n\n- The National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac has issued a Tornado Warning for Washtenaw County in southeastern Michigan\n- Until 8:00 p.m. EDT.\n- At 7:21 p.m. EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado\nwas located near Brooklyn, or 8 miles west of Manchester, moving\nnortheast at 50 mph.\n- Hazard: Tornado.\n- Source: Radar indicated rotation.\n- Impact: Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without\nshelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.\nDamage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.
