      "verbatimText": "The campus is currently under a boil water advisory for essential purposes only until further notice due to an OWASA water line break. The decreasing water supply effects available potable water, sanitation services and air conditioning.\n\nDue to these issues, the campus will move to Condition 2 effective 11:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5 through 11:00 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5.\n\nClasses are cancelled and all non-mandatory operations are suspended; only mandatory employees must report to or remain at work. Non-faculty (staff) non-mandatory employees must not report, or must leave campus. These employees must use leave time if not working or can use make-up time subject to applicable rules. Alternatively, and only with supervisor approval, non-mandatory employees may work from home or an alternate site.\n\nResidential students are welcome to stay on campus for the time being.\n\nDetails on campus services and modified hours will be communicated as soon as they are available.",

Please use water for essential needs only to ensure the community has water for emergency requirements. System pressure remains low in some areas. Please continue to boil water for at least the next 24 hours. Some customers may see discoloration in their water due to sediment (non-harmful particles) being stirred-up in the pipes.\n\nThe campus will extend Condition 2 until 5 pm, Tuesday, Nov. 6.\n\nClasses are cancelled and all non-mandatory operations are suspended; only mandatory employees must report to or remain at work. We will communicate any urgent updates in a timely manner.\n\nBelow are details on services that are currently available:\n\nStudent Services\n\nDINING: Chase and Top of Lenoir Dining Halls are open until 8:30 pm today.\n\nServices for Nov. 6:\n\nChase Dining Hall will be open 9 am-8:30 pm\nTop of Lenoir Dining Hall will be open 11 am-8:30 pm\nAll other retail locations will be closed\n\nIn an effort to conserve limited water supplies, all customers will receive one bottle of water with their meal. Please check the dining website at www.dining.unc.edu for more information.\n\nHEALTH SERVICES: Campus Health Services will continue to operate under normal conditions as long as water pressure sufficient for patient care remains intact.  Visit the Campus Health website at campushealth.unc.edu for information about any altered operations that may be required.\n\nEVENTS: Carolina Union and Campus Recreation Facilities are closed, and all Student Affairs programming and events are cancelled.\n\nHOUSING: Residence halls remain open and Carolina Housing will communicate further details directly with residents.\n\nResearch Facilities\n\nResearchers should vacate their labs as it is not safe for continued research operations.
