      "verbatimText": "UNC STUDENTS, STAFF, AND FACULTY:\n\nTown of Chapel Hill Police Investigating Robbery at Pittsboro Street Credit Union\n\nThe Town of Chapel Hill Police Department is investigating a robbery occurring just before 11 a.m. this morning (Tues., July 2), at the Pittsboro Street branch of the State Employees Credit Union, just west of the UNC Campus.\n\nA man entered the credit union, passed a note to tellers demanding money, and left the facility in the direction of Pittsboro Street with an amount of cash. The suspect was described as an elderly Black male with a heavy build, 5-10 to 6-1 in height, wearing a ballcap, with scruffy facial hair. No weapons were reported.\n\nThe Town of Chapel Hill Police Department continues to investigate and seek the apprehension of the suspect. If you have information about the incident, please contact the Chapel Hill Police Department at 919-968-2760. You can also call Crime Stoppers at 919-942-7515.
