      "verbatimText": "UNC Police has received a report from a Campus Security Authority of an alleged incident of drink tampering, which is aggravated assault under the Clery Act, of two people at 216 East Rosemary Street on Aug. 26. One of these individuals reported that they were then physically assaulted. We are alerting the community in accordance with the Jeanne Clery Act.\n\nIt is illegal to knowingly provide food or drink that contains any harmful substance. Individuals are encouraged to report to law enforcement any suspicious or criminal activity as soon as possible. Speak up if you see someone tampering with a drink.\n\nUNC Police Department is available 24 hours a day by calling 911 in an emergency or 919-962-8100 for non-emergency assistance. Officers are also available in person at the Public Safety Building located at 285 Manning Drive.\n\nAlways pour your own drink and confirm what you are pouring in your cup before doing so. Keep your drink with you and out of reach of others. Stop drinking if your drink tastes strange. Go out with people you know and trust.\n\nIf you suspect that someone has tampered with your drink, please consider filing a report with law enforcement.  Any person may report suspected misconduct by any undergraduate or graduate and professional UNC-Chapel Hill student to Student Conduct for review. A report may be filed using the appropriate online reporting system. Student Conduct will review the report and refer it to the appropriate entity for action.\n\nCounseling and Psychological Services is available for students 24 hours a day. Visit caps.unc.edu or call 919-966-3658. Students can also reach Campus Health at 919-966-2281 or 320 Emergency Room Drive (James A. Taylor Building).",
