      "verbatimText": "Students, Faculty, and Staff:\n\nDue to the possibility of severe weather in Orange County and across Central North Carolina on Tuesday, June 23, the University is postponing the Alert Carolina test until Wednesday, June 24, between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. During the system test, NO ACTION is required.\n\nIf further changes to the timing of the test are required, the University will communicate any changes no later than 4 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24 via Alert Carolina.\n\nWe test the Outdoor Emergency Sirens and messaging systems regularly throughout the year to make sure the equipment and notification processes work as planned, and to educate our community on what to do in the event of an emergency.\n\nDuring the test, anyone outside on or near campus will hear the sirens. The sirens are not designed to be heard inside a building or vehicle. The sirens will sound an alert tone along with a brief prerecorded voice message.",
