      "verbatimText": "Sexual Battery Reported in Friday Center Park & Ride Lot\n\nUNC Police are investigating the report of a sexual battery occurring this morning shortly before 8 a.m. (Thur., Nov. 15) in the Friday Center Park and Ride Lot, off NC 54.\n\nA female UNC student was walking from her car through the parking area to catch a bus and reportedly was approached by a male suspect who touched her inappropriately then left the scene. UNC Police searched the area, but did not locate the individual. The suspect was described as a black male in his mid-20’s, about 5-8 in height, with a medium build, a round face and a thin moustache. He was wearing light brown pants and a flat-brimmed baseball cap. No weapons were reportedly seen.\n\nThis investigation is ongoing. Please refer to alertcarolina.unc.edu for updates. Anyone with information which might aid in the UNC Police investigation or anyone seeing suspicious activity should call 9-1-1 immediately or contact the Chapel Hill-Carrboro-UNC Crime Stoppers at (919) 942-7515. Calls are confidential and anonymous.
