Water service in the following buildings has been impacted: Student Stores, Student Recreation Center, Fetzer Hall and Frank Porter Graham Student Union. \n\nEastbound vehicular and pedestrian traffic on South Road is closed between Stadium Drive and Raleigh Street. The Carolina community should expect traffic delays and pedestrian impacts in the area. Transportation and Parking is helping to direct traffic in the area. \n\nOccupants of impacted buildings should follow the guidance from OWASA regarding water outage and water usage. Repair and restoration of services may take up to 12 hours. \n \nThe UNC Police Department is available 24 hours a day by calling 911 in an emergency or 919-962-8100 for non-emergency assistance. Officers are also available in person at the Public Safety Building located at 285 Manning Drive. \n\nMost Alert Carolina Informational messages are sent to notify the campus community of situations that do not pose an immediate threat but may be of significant interest to campus. \n\nFor more information about Alert Carolina and updates on alerts, visit alertcarolina.unc.edu.",
