      "verbatimText": "In advance of severe winter weather beginning Monday morning, April 3, faculty and instructors are advised to move Monday classes online if possible. If in-person exams are scheduled, instructors should reach out to their students with additional instructions as soon as possible. Students with exams scheduled at the Center for Disability and Access should reach out to the center for more instruction.\n\nThe university’s health care system and hospitals will remain open, as will essential university functions.\n\nCampus childcare centers will have a delayed opening at 10 a.m. Center staff will contact parents with additional information.\n\nFaculty and staff who are able to work remotely should do so on Monday, April 3. Please check with your immediate supervisors for more information about your individual units and departments.\n\nGroups who have scheduled events or meetings on campus on Monday are encouraged to reschedule.\n\nThis will alleviate expected hazardous driving conditions and give crews time to safely clear roadways and sidewalks.\n\nUniversity personnel are monitoring the storm and snow clearing efforts and will notify the University community about campus operations again on Monday evening.\n\nPlease check for text and email alerts about potential impacts and watch alert.utah.edu for updates.",
