"verbatimText": "UPDATE Thursday morning, March 23: Traffic on Northlake Way is reopened between 6th and 7th Avenues NE and there are no further traffic impacts.\n\nORIGINAL POST: A fire that destroyed about 30 boats this morning near the Ship Canal Bridge is affecting several nearby UW buildings on Northlake Way due to smoke and street closures.  \n\nThe fire, which started at around 2 a.m., is under control, according to the Seattle Fire Department.\n\nNorthlake Way is blocked in both directions between 6th Avenue and 7th Avenue, affecting access to the Publications Services Building, the Northlake Building, Mercer Court Apartments and the Department of Environmental & Occupational Health Sciences. Please use alternate routes.\n\nThe smoke is minorly affecting air quality in the west part of the Seattle campus. Air quality in the central and north part of campus is satisfactory. If you are concerned about smoke exposure, keep windows and doors closed as much as possible.\n\nUW will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates here as they become available.",
