      "verbatimText": "Alerta de Seguridad\n14 de febrero de 2025\n\nLa Oficina de Seguridad y Vigilancia de la Universidad de Puerto Rico, Recinto de\nCayey, informa a la comunidad universitaria sobre un incidente de hurto ocurrido\nrecientemente.\nIncidente Reciente:\nEl 14 de febrero, un estudiante fue víctima de hurto dentro del campus, en el área de\nestacionamiento de Comunicaciones. El estudiante había retirado dinero del First Bank\ny, al regresar a su vehículo (estacionado dentro de la universidad), encontró el cristal\ndel pasajero roto y el sobre con el dinero robado.\nSe alertó a la policía, quienes nos informaron que individuos en una guagua blanca han\nestado llevando a cabo robos a personas que salen del mencionado banco. Al parecer,\nestos individuos están vigilando a los clientes del banco y siguiéndolos para robarles.\nRecomendaciones de Seguridad:\n• Manténgase atento a su entorno, especialmente al salir de bancos o cajeros\nautomáticos.\n• Si es posible, vaya acompañado a realizar transacciones bancarias.\n• Evite mostrar grandes cantidades de dinero en público.\n• No deje objetos de valor a la vista dentro de su vehículo.\n• Manténgase siempre consciente de su entorno, especialmente en áreas aisladas\no poco iluminadas.\n• Varíe sus rutas y horarios para evitar ser predecible.\n• Camine por áreas bien iluminadas y, si es posible, en grupos.\n• Tenga su teléfono móvil a mano en caso de emergencia.\n• Informe a la seguridad del campus o a la policía sobre cualquier actividad\nsospechosa.",
