(714) 966-6799 (714) 556-3610 Campus Safety Website https://www.va nguard.edu/res ources/campus- public-safety INFORMATION ONLY - Date / Time: October 8th, 2021 / 6:35 PM Location: Vanguard University Waugh Student Center Subject: Lyndsey Powell (DOB 1/9/85) Multiple tattoos on arms Details: On October 8th, 2021, Lyndsey Powell entered the Waugh Student Center with a knife in his hand. Powell was hallucinating and entered the Student Center for protection from people he believed were chasing him. Staff inside the COSTA MESA POLICE Student Center immediately called Campus Safety. A Campus Safety officer DEPARTMENT responded within a minute and detained Powell inside the kitchen area. Costa Mesa Police also responded, and Powell was arrested. (714) 754-5252 POWELL IS NOT ALLOWED ON VANGAURD PROPERTY. IF HE IS SEEN ON OR NEAR VANGUARD CAMPUS PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY CONTACT CAMPUS SAFETY.
