PROWLER - ARREST (714) 966-6799 (714) 556-3610 Campus Safety Website https://www.va nguard.edu/res ources/campus- public-safety - Date: November 1, 2022 - Location: Vanguard University - Suspect: Susan Schaefer (53 yrs old) - Vehicle: N/A Details: On November 1, 2022, the above subject, Susan Schaefer, entered the Balboa Dorm. Schaefer then entered a dorm room occupied by residential students. Schaefer made up a story as to why she was in the room, but the student did not believe her and called Campus Safety. Schaefer left the room and walked into the Student Center. Campus Safety COSTA MESA POLICE prepared to enter the Student Center when Schaefer suddenly exited with DEPARTMENT stolen food and drinks. She was detained and Costa Mesa PD was called. (714) 754-5252 Schaefer had stolen property in her possession, identity theft material, and illegal drugs. Schaefer was arrested for theft and prowling (in addition to other listed charges). CMPD discovered that Schaefer had an outstanding warrant for identity theft.
