CAMPUS SAFETY Theft Suspect (714) 966-6799 (714) 556-3610 Campus Safety Website https://www.va nguard.edu/res ources/campus- public-safety - Date / Time: 11/26/22 12:40 PM - Location: Vanguard University Campus - Scott Lot - Subjects: AKA: David Gonzalez Vehicle: Pedestrian Details: On 11/26/22, at approximately 12:40 PM, a Campus Safety Officer stopped this subject in the Scott Lot. The subject was acting suspicious and fled after the Officer photographed him. When surveillance footage was reviewed, it was found the subject tried opening several locked car doors in COSTA MESA POLICE the lot. The suspect did gain entry to one vehicle and some property was DEPARTMENT stolen. The subject most likely gave a false name prior to fleeing. If this (714) 754-5252 subject is seen, please contact Campus Safety. Students are reminded to make sure their vehicles are locked, and valuables are out of site.
