During the contact, Lopez became agitated and assaulted Officers by spitting and pushing. Campus Safety Officers used arrest and control techniques to detain Lopez. CMPD responded and arrested Lopez. Lopez was released pending filing from the District Attorney Office. He has been banned from the University.
