      "verbatimText": "CAMPUS SAFETY CRIME ALERT #2023-07 AGGRAVATED ASSAULT\nEmergency Number (949) 244-0098\nDate / Time: April 13, 2023 / 6:15 PM\nLocation: Vanguard Way & Newport Blvd.\nSubject: Male White Subject (approx. 60-65 yrs old) 5 10 to 6 feet / 150-160 lbs / Grey hair\nDetails: On the above date and time two female Vanguard students were jogging in the area of Newport Blvd. and Vanguard Way. An unknown male subject (described above) began chasing them while armed with a pitchfork. At one point the subject threw the pitchfork at them. They were not struck with the pitchfork, and they were able to run away. Campus Safety and the Costa Mesa Police Department searched for the subject but were not able to locate him. The subject was described as wearing a dirty grey shirt. He has been observed in the area on a prior occasion. If he is observed, or you have information that may help with an ongoing investigation, please call the Costa Mesa Police or Campus Safety.
