      "verbatimText": "CAMPUS SAFETY CRIME ALERT #2023-11 ROBBERY\nEmergency Number (949) 244-0098\nDate / Time: September 24, 2023 / 9:30 PM\nLocation: Fair Drive & Newport Blvd.\nSuspect #1: Male Hispanic (approx. 5 10)\nSuspect #2: Male Hispanic (no further desc.)\nDetails: A Vanguard University student was walking toward Fair Drive and Newport Blvd. on September 24, 2023, at approx. 9:30 PM. Once at the corner of Fair Drive and Newport Blvd. The student victim saw a Male Hispanic subject (identified as Suspect #1). Suspect #1 asked the student victim, Sup Foo. The victim responded and was struck from behind by Suspect #2. The Victim fell to the ground. The two suspects removed items from the Victims clothing and fled on foot, west toward Costa Mesa City Hall.\nCampus Safety is working with Costa Mesa Police and the victim. This is an ongoing investigation.
