      "verbatimText": "CAMPUS SAFETY CRIME ALERT #2024-1 SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT\nEmergency Number (949) 244-0098\nDate / Time: January 23, 2024, 3:11 AM & 5:29 AM\nLocation: Layne / Seymour\nSuspect: Unknown Male (All black clothing)\nDetails: At approximately 3:11 AM, Campus Safety Officer observed a male Hispanic Subject, wearing all black, inside the Seymour study area. The subject saw the officer and immediately left. Costa Mesa Police were called, and the building was checked for the subject. He was not located.\nAt approximately 5:29 AM, the same subject was observed by a facilities worker pulling on doors to the second floor of the Layne building. An Officer responded and observed the subject on the bridge between Layne and Seymour. The subject fled a second time. Officers searched the buildings but were unable to locate him.
