UCPD CRIME ALERT: ARMED ROBBERY
On Sunday, March 5, 2023, at approximately 5:45 a.m., a UCLA staff member was the victim of an armed robbery on Westwood Boulevard near Lindbrook Avenue.
The suspects drove their vehicle next to the victim. One suspect exited the vehicle, pointed a handgun at the victim, and demanded their property. The suspect took the victim's phone, wallet, and backpack, returned to the vehicle, and the suspects fled southbound on Westwood Boulevard.
The victim was not physically injured.
Suspect: Male, approximately 5'8" tall, wearing a black ski mask.
Vehicle: Red two-door Chevrolet Camaro, 2018 model year or newer, with a hard top and black hood.
