Fox Valley Technical College will strive to remain open to serve students. If the weather is threatening and buildings stay open, the choice to report for an in-person class is ultimately up to the student.

Decision timing day and eveningverbatim

When severe weather conditions exist in the morning, the college will announce a campus closing by 5:00 a.m. If the college is open and severe weather or other conditions develop during the day, the conditions will be evaluated and if possible, a decision regarding the cancellation of evening classes will be made by 3:00 p.m. for evening classes/activities.

Closed buildings locked virtual continueverbatim

When the campuses are closed, the buildings will be locked. Staff should not report to work on campus and students should not report to in person classes. Virtual classes will proceed as scheduled when the buildings are closed. In-person classes will be canceled but instructors may elect to conduct virtual learning activities instead.
